Terapi komplementer menjadi semakin populer di kalangan remaja sebagai cara untuk mengelola berbagai masalah kesehatan. Persepsi remaja tentang penggunaan pengobatan komplementer dan alternatif (CAM) juga telah dieksplorasi dalam studi kualitatif, mengungkapkan bahwa banyak remaja memandang CAM sebagai cara untuk menjaga kesehatan dan kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan. Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan remaja tentang terapi komplementer pada remaja. Metode dalam pengabdian ini adalah ceramah tentang terapi komplementer pada remaja dan pelatihan pembuatan jamu kunyit asam. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah diketahui bahwa 79,62 % peserta memiliki nilai posttest dengan kategori baik. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penyuluhan tentang komplementer remaja, mayoritas remaja memiliki pengetahuan baik.
Abstract: Complementary therapies are becoming increasingly popular among adolescents as a way to manage a variety of health problems. Adolescents' perceptions of the use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) have also been explored in qualitative studies, revealing that many adolescents view CAM as a way to maintain overall health and well-being. The purpose of this Community Service is to increase adolescents' knowledge and skills about complementary therapies in adolescents. The methods in this community service are lectures on complementary therapies in adolescents and training in making turmeric and tamarind herbal medicine. The results of this community service are that 79.62% of participants have a posttest score in the good category. Conclusion: Based on the results of counseling on adolescent complementary, the majority of adolescents have good knowledge.
