Sungai Pinang Lama adalah salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Sungai Tabuk, Kabupaten Banjar, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan, Indonesia. Sungai Pinang Lama terbagi menjadi 7 Rukun Tetangga. Pendapatan utama masyarakat Sungai Pinang Lama adalah petani beras dan nelayan. Kehidupan masyarakat di bantaran sungai pada pedesaan sangat erat kaitannya dengan sungai yang menjadi pusat dari berbagai aspek kehidupan mereka. Desa Sungai Pinang Lama memiliki beberapa permasalahan seperti kurangnya air bersih oleh karena itu perlunya pengelolaan air bersih yang dibantu oleh mahasiswa dari universitas sari mulia dengan cara membuat filter air bersih menggunakan botol bekas dan bahan alami. Program ini bertujuan untuk pengelolaan air bersih masyarakat sudah paham dan bisa mempraktikkan pembuatan filter alami air bersih berbahan karbon aktif.
Abstract. Sungai Pinang Lama is one of the villages located in Sungai Tabuk District, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. Sungai Pinang Lama is divided into 7 Neighborhood Associations. The main income of the Sungai Pinang Lama community is rice farmers and fishermen. The lives of people on the banks of the river in rural areas are closely related to the river which is the center of various aspects of their lives. Sungai Pinang Lama Village has several problems such as lack of clean water, therefore the need for clean water management assisted by students from Sari Mulia University by making clean water filters using used bottles and natural materials. This program aims to ensure that the community understands clean water management and can practice making natural clean water filters made from activated carbon.
