The high incidence of diabetes mellitus in the community is a problem that requires continuous supportive therapy, one of which is through the use of herbal plants such as bay leaves and lemongrass. However, public knowledge regarding the proper processing of traditional medicines is still limited. This community service activity aims to increase knowledge and skills in utilizing bay leaves and lemongrass as local herbs with health benefits and encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle through the development of products in the form of bay leaf and lemongrass tea bags. This activity consists of three stages: preparation (survey and problem analysis), implementation (education and training), and evaluation. Evaluation was carried out using a questionnaire instrument to measure the level of knowledge of respondents. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in knowledge, namely at the beginning of the test only 25% of respondents were in the good category and after the intervention this increased to 67.9%. This training was effective and had a positive impact on the community in processing herbal plants into tea bags independently as an effort to improve health, especially as a supporting therapy for diabetes mellitus.
