Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Pijat Bayi Menuju Bayi Sehat Desa Penyengat Olak

Baby massage is very beneficial for the health and development of babies. Massage can stimulate the release of endorphins that can reduce pain, so the baby becomes calm and reduces the frequency of crying, thus massage also improves the quality and quantity of the baby's sleep. This service aims to increase mothers' knowledge about baby massage, and train mothers of babies/toddlers to massage their babies. This activity was carried out in Penyengat Olak Village, Muaro Jambi Regency. In this activity involves cadres as extensions of health workers, the target of this activity is 30 people consisting of mothers of infants/toddlers and cadres. The activity was assisted by the village midwife, stinging olak. The method applied to this service is the lecture method, baby massage practice and discussion. The results of the service showed that after being given the socialization of baby massage material, the knowledge and skills of the mother and toddler experienced an increase. The conclusion of the service was that the implementation, the activity was attended by 30 participants consisting of cadres and mothers of babies/toddlers. Prior to socialization about baby massage, participants' knowledge was only 36.7% good. and after being socialized there was a good increase in knowledge of 66.7% as well as the assessment of baby massage skills, most of them were good, and had washed their hands before doing baby massage.
Abstrak: Pijat bayi merupakan hal yang sangat bermanfaat bagi kesehatan dan tumbuh kembang bayi. Pijat dapat merangsang keluarnya hormon endorphin yang bisa menurunkan nyeri, sehingga bayi menjadi tenang dan mengurangi frekuensi menangis dengan demikian pijatan juga meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas tidur bayi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang pijat bayi, dan melatih ibu bayi/batita agar melakukan pemijatan pada bayinya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Penyengat Olak Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Dalam kegiatan ini melibatkan kader sebagai perpanjangan tangan dari petugas kesehatan, Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah 30 orang terdiri dari ibu bayi/batitadan kader. Kegiatan dibantu oleh bidan desa penyengat olak. Metode yang diterapkan pada pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah, praktik pijat bayi dan diskusi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diberikan sosialisasi materi pijat bayi, pengetahuan maupun keterampilan ibu batita mengalami peningkatan. Simpulan pengabdian bahwa pelaksanaan, kegiatan diikuti oleh 30 peserta yang terdiri dari kader dan ibu bayi/ batita. Sebelum sosialisasi tentang pijat bayi pengetahuan peserta hanya 36.7 % yang baik. dan setelah disosialisasikan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan yang baik 66.7 % begitupula penilaian keterampilan memijat bayi sebagian besar sudah baik, dan sudah mencuci tangan sebelum melakukan pijat bayi.
