Peningkatan Pengetahuan Ibu Hamil Tentang Gizi di Desa Gelam Kota Serang

Nutrition of pregnant women is an important thing that must be met during pregnancy that helps the mother and fetus remain. Fulfillment of nutrition for the body is very dependent on the choice of food, and the selection of the right food is greatly influenced by the knowledge and attitudes possessed, for that knowledge of pregnant women's nutrition is a determining factor in meeting needs. The purpose of this activity is to provide education about the importance of nutrition for pregnant women. This community service activity is carried out by midwifery lecturers and students and collaborates with village officials and other facilitators. This community service activity was attended by 25 pregnant women who live in Gelam Village, Serang City in the form of persuasive educative activities, namely making efforts to influence and believe the audience by providing health education, namely about nutrition in pregnant women in the hope of changing behavior so that pregnant women are able to empower themselves in preventing complications of pregnancy and childbirth through good nutrition in accordance with the needs of pregnant women. As part of the evaluation stage, the post-test results of community service participants showed that of the 25 pregnant women who took part in the activity, 23 (92%) had good knowledge and it can be said that in general the community service material was received quite well by the participants. The final result of the health education activities provided for pregnant women in Gelam village went well and received good enthusiasm from pregnant women and village midwives.
Abstrak: Gizi ibu hamil merupakan hal penting yang harus dipenuhi selama kehamilan berlangsung yang membantu ibu dan janin tetap. Pemenuhan gizi bagi tubuh sangat tergantung pada pemilihan makanan yang dilakukan, dan pemilihan makanan yang tepat sangat dipengaruhi pengetahuan dan sikap yang dimiliki, untuk itu pengetahuan gizi ibu hamil merupakan faktor penentu dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai pentingnya gizi pada ibu hamil. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa kebidanan serta berkolaborasi dengan perangkat desa maupun fasilitator lainnya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini di ikuti oleh 25 ibu hamil yang tinggal di Desa Gelam Kota Serang dengan bentuk kegiatan bersifat persuasif edukatif yaitu melakukan usaha mempengaruhi dan meyakini para audience dengan pemberian pendidikan kesehatan yaitu mengenai gizi pada ibu hamil dengan harapan dapat mengubah perilaku sehingga ibu hamil mampu memberdayakan diri dalam mencegah komplikasi kehamilan dan persalinan melalui asupan gizi yang baik sesuai dengan kebutuhan ibu hamil. Sebagai bagian dari tahapan evaluasi, hasil post-test peserta kegiatan pengmas menunjukkan bahwa dari 25 ibu hamil yang mengikuti kegiatan terdapat 23 orang (92%) memiliki pengetahuan baik dan dapat dikatakan bahwa secara umum materi pengmas dapat diterima dengan cukup baik oleh peserta. Hasi akhir dari kegiatan penyuluhan kesehatan yang diberikan bagi ibu hamil di desa Gelam berjalan dengan baik dan mendapatkan antusias yang baik dari ibu hamil dan bidan desa.
