Edukasi Manajemen Nyeri Pasca Sirkumsisi Pada Anak di Desa Lalimbue Kecamatan Kapoiala Kabupaten Konawe Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara

Circumcision is a minor surgical procedure to remove the foreskin of the penis so that the glans penis becomes exposed. Pain is an unpleasant emotional experience due to actual or potential damage or describes the condition of the damage. Pain is a protective mechanism that arises when tissue damage occurs, and this will make the individual react by moving the pain stimulus. School-aged children are able to describe their pain. Self-report method using a numerical scale of pain intensity levels. Pain management is identifying and managing sensory or emotional experiences associated with tissue or functional damage with sudden or slow onset and intensity from mild to severe and constant. Adequate treatment is needed by pain sufferers, not only to relieve their pain but also to improve their quality of life. So, it is necessary to do pain management. In the process of education and simulation of pain management using the media to assist in conveying health messages in the form of leaflets. Community service activities carried out by a team of lecturers from the Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Halu Oleo University in the working area of the Kapoiala Public Health Center, Konawe Regency, were carried out as an educational effort for parents and children to be able to carry out post-circumcision pain management both pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically in children. All counseling participants had obtained good knowledge about post-circumcision pain management. All participants had obtained information and had known about pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management.
Abstrak: Sirkumsisi merupakan tindakan bedah minor untuk membuang kulit prepusium penis sehingga glans penis menjadi terbuka. nyeri adalah pengalaman perasaan emosional yang tidak menyenangkan akibat terjadinya kerusakan aktual maupun potensial, atau menggambarkan kondisi terjadinya kerusakan. Nyeri merupakan mekanisme perlindungan yang timbul bila terjadi kerusakan jaringan, dan hal ini akan membuat individu bereaksi dengan cara memindahkan stimulus nyeri. Anak usia sekolah mampu mendeskripsikan nyeri mereka. Metode pelaporan sendiri dengan menggunakan skala tingkatan intensitas nyeri secara numerik. Manajemen nyeri adalah mengidentifikasi dan mengelola pengalaman sensorik atau emosional yang berkaitan dengan kerusakan jaringan atau fungsional dengan onset mendadak atau lambat dan berintensitas ringan hingga berat dan konstan. Penanganan yang adekuat sangat dibutuhkan oleh penderita nyeri, tidak hanya untuk meredakan rasa nyerinya melainkan pula untuk meningkatkan mutu kehidupannya. Maka, perlu dilakukan manajemen nyeri. Dalam proses Edukasi dan simulasi manajemen nyeri menggunakan media untuk membantu dalam menyampaikan pesan kesehatan yaitu berupa leaflet. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Tim dosen dari Program Studi Keperawatan, Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Halu Oleo di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kapoiala Kabupaten Konawe dilakukan sebagai upaya edukasi bagi orangtua dan anak agar mampu melakukan manajemen nyeri pasca sirkumsisi baik secara farmakologi maupun non farmakologi pada anak. Seluruh peserta penyuluhan telah memperoleh pengetahuan yang baik tentang manajemen nyeri pasca sirkumsisi. Seluruh peserta telah memperoleh informasi dan telah mengetahui tentang manajemen nyeri secara farmakologi dan non farmakologi penatalaksanaan nonfarmakologi.
