This study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and coping strategies in students who experience distress. The participants in this study were students aged 17-24 years, class of 2018-2022 from various faculties. The sampling method used purposive sampling technique, namely students who were included in moderate and high levels of distresss (N = 260). The results showed that there was a significant relationship between resilience (Sig. 0.621) and coping strategies (Sig. 0.312) with distresss in college students. Furthermore, resilience and coping strategies simultaneously affect student distresss Fcount more than Ftable (resilience 1.647 more than 1.51; coping strategies 2.046 more than 0.312). Increasing mental health services in higher education can direct the use of adaptive coping strategies so as to increase resilience and minimize the emergence of distresss in students.
