Abstract

Gagal ginjal kronis (GGK) merupakan hilangnya fungsi ginjal yang bersifat ireversibel dan progresif dimana hemodialisis menjadi salah satu alternatif pengobatan. Ketidak patuhan terhadap program terapi dan masalah fisik yang timbul seperti fatigue merupakan hal yang harus mendapat perhatian. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh program edukasi dan intradialytic exercise: flexibility pada pasien yang menjalani hemodialisis. Sasaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diikuti oleh pasien rutin menjalani hemodialisis yang berjumlah 20 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan kesehatan melalui ceramah, dan diskusi serta tanya jawab serta kegiatan intradialytic exercise: flexibility. Hasil kegiatan terjadi peningkatan signifikan rata-rata keseluruhan pengetahuan dari 46,5% sebelum intervensi menjadi 86,5% sesudah program Pendidikan dan latihan fisik intradialytic exercise: flexibility. Kesimpulan: Program edukasi memberikan efek yang positif terhadap keseluruhan pengetahuan dan latihan fisik intradialytic exercise: flexibility dapat menjadi alternatif pilihan dalam membantu pasien dalam beradaptasi dengan proses hemodialisis
