Abstract. Adolescents need social support to improve mental health literacy. Mental health literacy psychoeducation was carried out with the purpose that adolescents have literacy about mental health and know about how to deal with mental health problems both for themselves and for others. This activity was held at Imanuel Manefu Baumata Church, Kupang Regency. A total of 27 teenagers participated in this community service activity. A quasi-experimental study with one-group pretest-posttest design was carried out on 27 participants to measure the effectiveness of the psychoeducation. The results of the hypothesis testing show that psychoeducation of mental health literacy has an effect on adolescents’ understanding on mental health, t (26) = -7,217, p less than 0.001, d = -1,389.
