Kolaborasi Praktisi dan Akademisi Dalam Pembentukan Kader Halal Pada UMKM di Kota Banjarmasin

Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan memiliki penduduk mayoritas beragama Islam yang menganggap pentingnya label halal sebelum pembelian. Upaya Pemerintah Indonesia untuk memastikan kehalalan produk konsumen diberlakukan melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan produk halal. Namun, peraturan tersebut belum sepenuhnya memberikan perlindungan bagi konsumen Muslim dikarenakan produk bersertifikasi halal belum sepenuhnya terimplementasikan kepada pelaku UMKM di Kota Banjarmasin. Oleh karena itu, dilaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan dan pembentukan kader terhadap proses produk halal yang kemudian berperan untuk mendampingi pelaku UMKM dalam melaksanakan sertifikasi halal. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pemberdayaan UMKM di Kota Banjarmasin terdapat dampak positif yang signifikan. Melalui pendampingan NIB, UMKM berhasil mendapatkan legalitas usaha yang sah. Peningkatan kualitas usaha tercapai melalui bimbingan dalam manajemen usaha, keuangan, dan pemasaran. Implementasi kaderisasi halal meningkatkan pemahaman pelaku UMKM tentang pentingnya sertifikasi halal, dengan 85% peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan 90% berkomitmen menerapkan standar halal. Selain itu, sebanyak 30 UMKM berhasil mendapatkan sertifikasi halal sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan konsumen dan membuka peluang pasar yang lebih luas, termasuk daya saing internasional.
