Implementation of Article Processing Charge (APC)

Starting from April 1, 2026, Majalah Kesehatan Indonesia (MAKEIN) will implement an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 500,000 for each article submitted after April 1, 2026 and subsequently accepted for publication.

Journal does not charge authors from outside Indonesia any submission or publication fees, and no costs are incurred for article processing or the review process.

Please note that manuscripts submitted before April 1, 2026, will not be subject to any APC.

The APC will only be invoiced after the manuscript has been officially accepted by the editor for publication in the nearest issue.

This fee is intended to support article processing and publication services, including the editorial process, layouting, DOI registration, as well as domain and server maintenance. If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.

This policy is implemented as part of our commitment to maintaining the quality of journal management services and ensuring the sustainability of Majalah Kesehatan Indonesia.

SINTA 3 Accreditation Recognition for Majalah Kesehatan Indonesia

With great gratitude and pride, we are delighted to share the wonderful news that Majalah Kesehatan Indonesia (MKI) has officially received SINTA 3 accreditation recognition from the Directorate General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

This recognition was granted through the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Number 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 dated March 21, 2025.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all contributors, including Editors, Reviewers, and Authors, for their incredible dedication and hard work in improving the quality of our journal. MAKEIN Raih "Sinta 4" dari Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi

Kepada Ykh, Seluruh kontributor Majalah Kesehatan Indonesia (Makein).  

Berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi Nomor 105/E/KPT/2022, tanggal 7 April 2022 tentang Peringkat Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah periode I Tahun 2022, kami ingin menginformasikan bahwa Majalah Kesehatan Indonesia berhasil meraih ranking Naik ke Peringkat 4.

Kami ucapkan terimakasih yang sebesar-besarnya kepada seluruh pihak yang telah memberikan support dan kontribusi sehingga Majalah Kesehatan Indonesia berhasil meraih Predikat SINTA 4. Majalah Kesehatan uses a double-blind peer-review process for all manuscripts submitted, with two reviewers assessing the academic quality of every manuscript.
